ModsbyMax RCF/ISF/GSF Ethanol Analyzer kit install Tutorial
This is a custom Ethanol analyzer kit I made that is currently made to order. It allows you to plug a gauge or Bluetooth sensor w/app to read your ethanol content if you're currently blending or on e85. It mounts in the engine bay with PTFE fittings, hoses, & locking connectors. Right now the kit can be fitted in any 2URGSE engine, the only thing that changes is the size of the fuse cover spacer depending on the height of your battery.
Tools and Materials needed to install

RCF & ISF Compression test

Hi guys, for a dry compression test you'll need to take the 10mm coil screw off (have it ready for removal). Bring the engine up to normal driving temp remove the Fuel pump fuse remove the coil and sparkplug install compression test fitting Cycle start 4-5 times Write down cyl and psi and repeat for that same side. Once done, warm up the car again for the other side. You'll want the numbers to ...

Yo, I appreciate it 🤙🏽. Dm me on IG @hylife.RCF or @modsbymax
What’s the deets 👀
amaziiiiinggggggg modsbymax taking over
Dude...I want this for mine. I want to tune and run E100. Or at least know what my actual blend is.
Which model do you have?
@@HyLifeSociety 08 ISF
@@GohanBurner If you're interested Dm me on IG @modsbymax Let me know what setup you're looking to do, do you want a bluetooth setup, are you using an Innovate gauge kit, or do you want a mini digital gague etc (innovate gauge comes with a flex sensor so you'd just need the line kit from me). Different prices for everything.
Where did you order this from bro?
The kit or the hood?
I wonder if a 17mm O2 removal bit would get that top bolt off with less pain
I think you’re right! The open end would let you keep the sensor in tact, one less step.
@HyLifeSociety I appreciate the time and effort to make the video with all the detail! I'll be putting springs on soon myself as well I think. Will rewatch your video when I do ro do it myself!
Thanks for the video I watched it about 10 times just did mine but only the front. I think it looks better just front lower
Just remember having the front lower will put more stress on your front end bushings and shocks. Think of it like two people carrying a couch down stairs, the person on the lower part experiences the most weight while the high side is extra light from the imbalance.
@HyLifeSociety I use tein Spring almost OEM with 1"drop.I placed a damper too
@@dannymouynivong9384 That shouldn't be too bad, keep an eye on the shock, mine leaked after 16 months.
Great work man.
I appreciate you bro 💪🏽

I have a question, i was gifted a new 18v Dewalt tool with 2 new batts in same pack 10+yrs ago, i haven't used for over a year so i charged the 1 battery successfully but the second one had the fast flash so i pulled it out of the charger and reseat it, the flash was charging normal, for about 5 minutes, i started hearing a high squeel coming from the battery and was progressively getting louder so i unplugged it, any thoughts? I dont wanna blow it 🧨up in the kitchen!😂
This is the first I hear of this but If i smell burning, or hear an odd noise I typically don't bother with it. You could try priming that battery with a good one to see (assuming all you did was reseat it) .
@@HyLifeSociety thank you, and yup, that's all I did was reseat in the charger.
Hi, do u want to sell the old one ?
Hey, he already sold it to another friend. But he has a full NIA kit, front lip, side skirts and rear spats color matched white for sale if you’re interested.
This would not be as close of a race if the ISF had HEADERS to make it FBO and dropped the passenger. The RCF is FBO (Intake/Exhaust/Headers/Tune) so yes it’s going to creep past the ISF.
The ISF had headers. I didn’t know when I edited the video.
that shit look ugly
he should have left the oem one
ISF’s in the area all have the same mods. My boy is going for something different that’s not easy to get.
Sweet!
Not into those Louvers, its a Lexus not a Mustang. Spare the thing its dignity man lol
If one of your spark plugs are bad, it will still run perfectly fine. Only when there is an issue with both spark plugs that you will notice… 🤷♂️💯💯
Hey where did you get that and what’s the name of it. Thanks.
Its a Lexon diffuser. I ordered the FRP one and skinned it in carbon. But they make a carbon one now for $500 more lol
@@HyLifeSociety do you think it’s worth the price of 1450
@@AJ-bl6kf If you asked me before I did my own carbon id say no. But now it’s definitely worth it, I worked on that for 2 weeks coating and sanding , then I had to clear coat the whole thing after the resin was smooth enough. I learned a lot doing that though, gonna fix my friends broken carbon lip with what I learned 🤷🏻♂️
That front fender tab is the nastiest shit I have ever experienced in a lowered car. If you haven’t already, make sure you bend it back a bit. Should give you a bit more clearance there for the offset and height. Great video bro.
I'm going to look at it this week, I'm rubbing a little up front and I'm sure its from the tab. Thanks for the heads up bro, good lookin out.
Love this one. The raw and educational footage is really what I like to look at, and what I typically cater my content to. I opted not to record due to the extent of the installation. So respect for doing it. I smiled at the mention of losing daylight, because that recording will definitely do that to you along with an involved install. But because I didn’t record, I’ve lost a bit of context to how I installed years ago. The cross links really make the rear the harder part of the installation. If that knuckle assembly doesn’t fall perfectly, that alignment is a PITA. I bought some pry tools just for that. Great video, and keep up the content. The platform needs it.
Thank you bro I appreciate the kind words. I have a stage 4 supercharger I'm installing soon, I'll have the first full home install series soon for everyone that doesn't want to pay a shop 4-6k to install, from the water/meth kit, down to some custom stuff i'm doing for the F. I'll have the custom parts available for sale too, trying to give back to the Lexus community and help the platform have more options for modds.
@@HyLifeSocietythat’s gonna be quite the series. I’m locked in!
Nice Tutorial! Thank you!👍
Thank you broski
👍Thank you bro, very helpful!
👏🏼🔥🔥🔥
Yo what's the offset on the wheels? Could you please drop your wheel specs below? Any rubbing?
416hp vs 472… I wonder which car has the more hp and why it creeps.
Same engine 😊
Just bought mine yesterday! :D
Love the wheels my guy
Thank you bro, I just re ordered the rear in a deep concave . They should be in this week. 🫡
try talking to Sergio over at carbonetics. He is in Cali and would probably work with you to get this done.
Thanks bro, the mold is in Malaysia now. If there's issues I'll look for other options, this company does amazing molds, cleanest carbon I've seen.
Where did you buy your kit from?
Jpm sells on eBay bro. They’ve been on for a year and held up great. They’re the Ag style side skirts
Looks good bro. I’d probably opt for the bolts where some of those tapping screws are. Last thing you want to happen is they come undone and those tabs break off. Also, those circle clips, you don’t 100% need them for them to stay put. My Lexon splitters wouldn’t allow me to put them back on. The outside pressure really helps to hold the rocker in place. Can get away with just relying on the clips really.
I appreciate the input bro, I’ve had these on for a year and a half now. Video is old. If they fall off they’re taking the OEM piece with them, they’re on there pretty good 😂
@@HyLifeSocietyproof of concept is stronger than concept lol. Good deal ✊🏽
love the steering wheel
What about the airbag cover?
I have a diff video up showing the airbag bro.
Sike
where did you get the carbon fiber steering wheel emblem?
I got it from ZenCarbon but there’s tons of other companies that have them now.
@@HyLifeSociety funny enough I was searching around and already ended up finding their website, thanks for sharing
love the work done on the steering wheel...absolutely beautiful
Who is that mistical loi who found how to crack lexus , he even know how to crack gearboxes for lexus
Been wanting to get lower springs for my RC. How does it compete in ride quality with the stock springs? is it more firm?
They’re perfectly fine for normal driving and occasional street pulls . If you plan to boost in the future, track, or you drive hard you won’t be happy. I’m switching to coilovers soon, they’re on the way so I’ll have a video up to compare when they’re installed.
That wasn't a bad 35 spent, and on a pretty nice car on top of that...
Thank you man I appreciate it
❤
appreciate the detailed vids on these, thanks.
Thank you bro, making these that detailed is a pain but I remember looking all over for better instructions and couldn’t find any. Glad it helped.
I have 1 older style battery (dead) like this, and 1 newer style. How can I use the newer good battery to revive the old dead battery?
if the newer one has the 4 prongs use to outer ones to prime the old one, see if that works.
You gotta disconnect F/PMP and INJ. By having the gas spray like that, I'm pretty sure this is basically a wet compression test.
Also, if the first 2 fail, continue with the rest to see if it's an issue with the engine or an issue with the tool. There's lots of bad compression testers and faulty ones from some of the best kits.
I did disconnect it .
@@HyLifeSociety ah okay I thought you only disconnected one fuse
@@ballzzinyourmouth8 are you saying the injectors staying on even with no fuel is still considered a wet test though ?
@@HyLifeSociety well in the video I saw your engine would start for a tiny bit and I'm assuming it's because you only pulled one fuse and there was still fuel causing it to combust
What about the fast blink?
Same process
What wings is that bro? What type?
Artisan spirits GT wing or voltex type 12 same thing

Looks like it works im going to try it thank you for posting this video
Nice video! One thing I wish was that the camera/cars were parked in the same position to get a true sound but for the most part this is the only video like this comparing the exhaust which is nice, because the same damn questions always pop up on the forums and FB. I have the invidia on my 2020 rcf and love it. Perfect sound to me. I actually like the higher pitched noise. I noticed everything after the invidia got progressively "deeper". Not that it's a bad thing, but it's nice to hear the difference. Some folks like that deep noise, others like the loud raspy sound, while others like the higher pitched...etc. good stuff!
